About Survive

Surviveis a viral escape simulator. Type in your real address, pick a disaster — a zombie outbreak, a wildfire, an earthquake, a flash flood — and watch AI trace a dramatized escape route across your actual streets, then score whether you'd make it out alive. The result is a survival card built to be screenshotted, shared, and argued about.

Why we built it

It started with one uneasy question: what would it actually look like to flee your own neighborhood? Most disaster content is abstract — maps of places you'll never go, odds that mean nothing to you. We wanted the opposite: your block, your front door, yourroute to the nearest safe point. The moment the simulation runs on streets you walk every day, a silly premise suddenly feels personal — and that's the fun of it.

How it works

Behind the dramatic card, four things happen in a few seconds:

• We map your position. Your address is geocoded into coordinates — used once, in real time, never stored.
• We find your exit. We locate the nearest safe point and draw a real walking route to it using live map data.
• AI writes your fate. A Claude model spins a tense, second-person scenario from your household, your building floor, and the disaster you picked.
• You get a card. A survival score and a downloadable, shareable card — ready for the group chat.

Built in the open

Survive is a small, independent project, and we're building it in public — shipping improvements, new disasters, and sharper scenarios as we go. If something feels broken or you have an idea that would make it better, we genuinely want to hear it.

It's just for fun

Let's be clear: Survive is entertainment, not preparedness. The scores are dramatized, the routes are illustrative, and none of it is real risk assessment.
