Survive does not store your address or location.Your address is used once, in real time, to build your escape route and survival card for that single session — then it's gone. We never save it to a database, never tie it to your identity, and never sell or share it. No account, no login, no tracking profile.
What happens to your address
When you run a simulation, your address travels to our server, gets converted into map coordinates, and is used to request a route and an AI-written scenario. The moment your result comes back, the address is discarded from that request. We don't need it again, so we don't keep it.
Who we talk to on your behalf
To produce your result, a few trusted services do the heavy lifting — all called from our server, never directly from your browser with your identity attached:
- Mapbox turns your address into coordinates and draws your map and route.
- Anthropic's Claude writes your dramatized survival scenario from the household and disaster you chose.
- Privacy-respecting analytics (if enabled) count visits and which features get used — in aggregate, never including your address.
Cookies & tracking
Survive does not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. Any analytics we run are anonymous and aggregate — we're measuring whether the simulator works, not who you are.
Your choices
Because we don't store your address and don't require an account, there's no personal profile to access, export, correct, or delete — there's simply nothing on file. If you still have a specific privacy request, email us and we'll sort it out.
